The Palestinian Mission in London honors the Kuwaiti Ambassador

The Palestinian Mission in the United Kingdom honors the Kuwaiti Ambassador in London, Khaled Al-Duwaisan in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Information, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, and other Arab ambassadors to the United Kingdom.

Minister Nabil Abu Rudeineh gifted the Palestinian Ambassador, H.E. Dr. Husam Zomlot an honorary shield as well as a rare painting of Holy Jerusalem created in 1839.

Minister Abu Rudeineh also expressed his pride at the presence of a unique Arab ambassador, such as Ambassador Al-Duwaisan, in London, as he considers his voice as very prominent within the Palestinian cause. He also conveyed his appreciation of Kuwait’s financial and political support without regard to the consequences of its positions, especially those that do not align with those of the great powers.

Dr. Husam Zomlot reinforced that this appreciation towards Ambassador Al-Duwaisan was well-deserved considering his support for Palestinians throughout his honorable history as he not only was representative of his country, but also of Palestine.

Dr. Zomlot also added that this honor was also representative of Kuwait, the prince, the government, parliament and people, for embracing the Palestinian cause since its inception and for defending the rights of Palestinians.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Duwaisan reiterated Kuwait’s commitment to continue supporting Palestinians in all forums, whether in Britain or internationally. He also highlighted that His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah values the Palestinian cause and stresses the desire to continue support and recognition.
