A group of Palestinian entrepreneurs visited the UK, as part of their participation in an event to showcase Palestinian entrepreneurship.
The event was organised with support from the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC).
The goal of the visit was to highlight the many talents in the Palestinian market in fintech, services and ICT sectors.
At the Palestinian Mission in London, the group were received by H. E. Dr Husam Zomlot, who praised their innovation as a lever for the Palestinian economy.
Dr Zomlot argued that tech startups are one way the Palestinians can overcome the physical barriers, placed by the Israeli occupation against the development of the Palestinian economy.
The group is part of MENA Catalyst Foundation, a regional incubator which seeks to develop the business links between entrepreneurs in Palestine, and the region and potential cooperation opportunities in Europe and North America.
