The Ambassador at The Guardian Newspaper

Ambassador Hassassian was invited to The Guardian today by the Editor-in-Chief, Katherine Viner. The Guardian has an extensive online readership of 160 million including 50 million in the US.

Many of the most senior journalists at the paper including those on the editorial board, were at the meeting, which was both cordial and candid. His Excellency Hassassian briefed the journalists about the latest political developments on the ground. This was followed by a Q&A, generating a frank and lively discussion, Chatham House-style about the Palestinian position at this critical time.
