For the first half of 2017 the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) announced that Palestine is the fasted growing tourism destination worldwide.

Compared to 2016 inbound tourism to Palestine saw a steep increase by 57.8 %. With Egypt ranking second place (51% rise) and Israel also in the top 10 (25.1% rise), the wider Holy Land is definitely one of the world’s top, booming markets for international tourism.

Promoting the Heart of the Holy Land at WTM 2017

At the 2017 edition of the World Travel Market in London, the Holy Land Incoming Tour Operators Association (HLITOA) will be present, together with the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Al-Quds Tourism Heritage Council (ATHC), to promote Palestine as a top destination in the Holy Land.

HLITOA represents 50 Palestinian inbound tourism professionals, offering comprehensive coverage of the wider Holy Land including a full-range of travel services for groups and individuals, uniquely tailored itineraries, meeting customers’ demands, cross-border travel logistics, and a closed-meshed travel architecture securing safe and smooth travel experiences.

At the WTM, HLITOA will also launch the 2018 edition of its Sales Guide and Tour Operator’s Manual of the Holy Land in the European market.
